"......DJ Andrew from Funky Functions is probably best known for his 15 year residency in Ireland's most successful nightclub, Lush! Portrush. During the glory days there (1990-2005) Andrew played alongside world famous DJ's and acts such as Pete Tong, Rodger Sanchez, Fat Boy Slim & Seb Fontaine to name only a handful. Constantly diverse throughout his career he has been involved in many high profile events such as BBC’s Essential Selection, been tour Dj for The Cuban Brothers (MTV) and played concert warm up sets for many international live acts such as Coolio & Oasis. Be prepared to spend the night in boogie mode when this man gets busy....dance floor friendly sets spanning every possible genre. Now moved on from the scene that brought him recognition Andrew still plays the occasional exclusive club date but is focused on his uber cool Wedding Dj service Funky Functions. A breath of fresh air in an industry dominated by tacky disco roadshows. We wish him luck with that...... "
