Our story began around ten years ago when a couple of friends asked us to be the Wedding Djs for their big day. They wanted an alternative to the standard Disco roadshow found at many weddings in the UK & Ireland. From that point Music Matters was born!
Our Dj journey, however, started a long time before that. Since 1991 we have been heavily involved in the club scene at the highest level. For many years, we worked alongside the main players in the industry including Pete Tong, Fat Boy Slim, Roger Sanchez etc and we have held residencies at some of the UK & Ireland’s premier clubbing institutions including Lush Portrush, Sprit Dublin, Cafe Mambo Ibiza & The Zap Club Brighton.
From its inception, Music Matters have risen to become the countries No.1 Wedding Entertainment supplier with many industry awards and accolades to prove it. As well as creating the perfect soundtrack to your day, we also offer Event Photography, Light Up Letter Hire, and much more.

Every Music Matters wedding starts with a consultation (Zoom, SKYPE Etc.). This face-to-face meeting helps ensure the music we play is just right for you and your guests.
We get to hear what type of music you love and get a feeling for the mood you want to create. It also gives us the chance to get to know each other meaning that we have a working relationship even before we arrive at your Wedding Party.
